By subscribing to our Service, you agree to this Cancellation and Refund Policy in addition to our Terms of Service.
1. Subscription Plans
Sportia offers subscription-based access to our sports academy management platform. Our subscription plans include:
- Starter Plan: Basic features for small academies
- Growth Plan: Advanced features for growing academies
- Premier Plan: Full features for established academies
All plans are billed on a monthly recurring basis through our payment partner, Razorpay.
2. Free Trial
New subscribers may be eligible for a free trial period. During the trial:
- You have full access to all features of your selected plan
- No charges will be made during the trial period
- You may cancel at any time before the trial ends without being charged
- If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription
3. Cancellation Policy
3.1 How to Cancel
You may cancel your subscription at any time through one of the following methods:
- Through your account settings in the Sportia dashboard under "Subscription"

3.2 Effect of Cancellation
When you cancel your subscription:
- Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period
- You will continue to have access to all features until the billing period ends
- No further charges will be made after the current billing period
- Your data will be retained for 30 days after the subscription ends, during which you can reactivate your account
- After 30 days, your data may be permanently deleted
3.3 Cancellation During Trial
If you cancel during your free trial period:
- No charges will be made to your payment method
- Your access will continue until the trial period ends
- You may resubscribe at any time, though a new trial may not be available
4. Refund Policy
4.1 Refund Eligibility
Refunds may be considered in the following circumstances:
- Technical Issues: If you experience significant technical issues that prevent you from using the Service, and we are unable to resolve them within a reasonable timeframe
- Duplicate Charges: If you were charged multiple times for the same billing period due to a technical error
- Unauthorized Charges: If charges were made without your authorization (subject to verification)
4.2 Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will generally NOT be provided in the following situations:
- Change of mind after the subscription has been activated
- Failure to cancel before the end of a billing period

4.3 Pro-Rata Refunds
We do not offer pro-rata refunds for partial months. When you cancel your subscription, you will retain access until the end of your current billing period, but no partial refund will be issued for unused days.

6. Refund Processing
If your refund request is approved:
- Refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days of approval
- Refunds will be credited to the original payment method used for the transaction
- The time for the refund to reflect in your account depends on your bank or payment provider (typically 5-10 business days)
- You will receive an email confirmation once the refund has been processed
7. Payment Disputes
If you believe a charge is incorrect or unauthorized, please contact us at play@sportia.app before initiating a chargeback or dispute with your bank or credit card company. We are committed to resolving payment issues promptly and fairly.
Filing a chargeback without first contacting us may result in the suspension of your account and may delay the resolution of your issue.
