Common questions
Can we track individual items as well as bulk stock?
Yes. Bulk stock is a single entry with a quantity, and a uniquely identifiable asset is an entry of one with its serial number in the asset code field.
What happens when equipment is lost?
Mark the issue as lost. Those units stay out of available stock so your shelf count remains honest, and the loss is recorded against the borrower in the item history.
Who gets the overdue reminders?
The borrower, when they are an athlete or a staff member with an account. Kit issued to a team or a department has no individual to notify, so it appears on the overdue list for your staff to follow up.
Does it work across multiple venues?
Yes. Every item belongs to a location, and the sport and location switcher filters inventory the same way it filters the rest of Sportia.
